Things to See and Do in Languedoc

From your holiday home in the Languedoc, close to Montpellier, Nimes, Narbonne, Beziers, Carcassonne or Perpignan, you will find that this region offers dramatic contrasts – miles and miles of glorious sandy beaches on the one hand, and yet you can go skiing for the day in the Pyrenees. More importantly, this is the world's biggest wine-making region and a tour of the area reads like a wine list. Inland are amazing gorges and rivers, and hillsides dotted with castles dating from the bloodthirsty Cathar times. No matter where your self-catering accommodation is located in the Languedoc region, you'll find lots of things to do and see!
